SMS Messaging API

This website may be your introduction to our messaging platform. Our SMS API gives developers access to our messaging interface and provides a powerful set of properties to facilitate SMS messaging based applications.

There are a number of ways to gain access to the SMS gateway:

• Email/SMTP enabling any email package to submit email delivered as SMS
• HTTP/S submitting either via HTTP POST or GET
• SOAP over HTTP/S

Each of the access methods above uses the same properties. Contact us for more detailed API information, code examples or to evaluate the 2-way SMS platform.

The gateway SMS API system can be configured in a number of ways so that incoming messages matching certain criteria are processed and passed on to another application for further processing. The SMS system is able to match on the following properties of an incoming message:

• The address or a sub-address of the interface receiving the message
• The content of the message

The address or a sub-address can be a MISDN number, an X25 address for a kilo-stream port or a Short Code number.

Supported Reply Paths

Messages (mobile originate SMS or delivery reports) can be delivered to a number of different transport protocols. The following protocols are supported:

• SMTP
• HTTP
• HTTPS
• SOAP
• SMPP
